학과소개
- 외국의 유수 대학인 미국의 MIT, 영국의 Cranfield, City 대학 등은 물론 국내의 유명 대학들이 이미 국제 및 공공물류에 대한 전문적인 인재를 양성하고 있으며, 이는 지역 내 항만 또는 공항 등과 연계하여 발달되는 경우가 많음. 특히, 학부 수준이 아닌 대학원 수준에서 운영이 되고 있고, 석·박사과정을 개설하고 있어 세계적인 흐름 속에서 물류에 대한 관심이 고취되고 있음.
- 국제물류정책학과는 단순한 물류 운영이 아닌, 글로벌 공급망 관리, 국제 무역과 연계된 정책 개발, 구호물류 및 군수물류 그리고 공공기관과의 협력 등 폭넓은 지식과 능력을 함양시킴
- 지역 내 국제 및 공공물류 연구 분야에서 차별화된 교육/연구역량을 갖춘 고급 전문 인력을 양성하고자 함
- 이와 관련하여 본 교에서는 무역과 국제 물류 관련 지식을 지닌 인재를 양성하고 있지만, 제한된 학부 차원의 교과목 운영되고 있다는 한계점, 고급인재보다는 실무형 인재로 양성되고 있다는 한계점을 극복하기 위해 관련 교과목을 종합적으로 관리‧운영할 수 있는 학문적 거버넌스가 필요한 상황임.
- 이러한 학문적 거버넌스 확보와 함께 대구‧경북 신공항 건설로 파생될 국제물류 및 공공물류 수요를 충당하고 광역지자체 차원의 지원이 가능하여 본 대학원의 건립이 시의적절하여 설치를 제안하고자 함.
Introduction
- The department of international logistics policy cultivates a wide range of knowledge and abilities, including global supply chain management, policy development linked to international trade, relief and logistics, and cooperation with public institutions, not just logistics operations
- To train high-quality professionals with differentiated education/research capabilities in the field of international and public property research in the region
- In this regard, academic governance is needed to comprehensively manage and operate related subjects to overcome the limitations of limited undergraduate-level courses and the limitations of working-level talents rather than high-quality talents.
- In addition to securing academic governance, the construction of the Daegu-Gyeongbuk new airport will meet the demand for international logistics and public goods and support at the metropolitan level, so the construction of the graduate school is timely.
